It started in 10 may, Germany invaded Luxembourg, the Netherlands, and Belgium under the operational plan Fall Gelb. Belgium called all of the allies for the fight. The allies come between 11-12 may. After that the germany started the second operation!, The break true or can be called the sicle cut. Germany reached belgium after 4-5 days, The germany shoot some rockets and bullets and there is where the battle actually started.
In that battle belgium actually use some tanks, Its the first tank battle in world war 2, called Battle of Hannut, The largest tank battle in history. But after that theres more wars, North african campaign and Eastern Front. It used tanks and the tank battle is bigger that the battle of hannut.
After that day, Surprisingly there was a battle called Battle of fort eben. The largest airplane fight!, Belgium and Germany.
After those 18 Days fighting, The belgian army is too tough for The germany i think, The british suddently evacuated belgian fort during operation dynamo.
